Apps Android IDE

I want to write non-game Android apps using C++. I have an HP Slate 7 and I think my first step is to download an IDE on my tablet. Am I correct? Can you recommend an IDE to use?
 
I can - but Android apps are normally written in Java. You're asking for the tools to build wings for a submarine. If you want to build apps in a C dialect, write apps for iPhones - they use Objective C, which is sort of C++.
