Apps Android Installation

hello,

I am new to Android. I have trying to download android for quite sometime now, but the installation file does not get downloaded. I have been trying to download the recommended installer_r10-windows.exe from developer.android.com

The problem is that it says 'Download Canceled' for no apparent reason. Please help!

Try downloading the .zip instead. Maybe some virus protection is bugging you, denying download of .exe files...
