Call them a troll all you like but never has such a succinct and compelling argument been made! I know I'll be switching later today based on this thorough and well thought out piece! It's never been so clear for me before.ok troll
In the interests of fairness I have to point out that iOS has supported desktop widgets for a year now. Yes, they are still far less flexible than Android widgets, but a bit more desktop customisation is possible. No brain power wasted on setting up widgets and home screens to make the device uniquely mine!
"iPhones just work"!

Ah, now I still don't care about wireless charging, though I care even less about proprietary wireless chargers like Apple use: I refuse to use any vendor-specific systems, be that charging, payment or interoperability, no matter who the vendor is, because as far as I'm concerned any system that only works with one manufacturer's product is an attempt to lock the customer in to that manufacturer. Of course that game is central to Apple's strategy: get people used to Airdrop or their hand-over system, provide enhanced messaging that only works between Apple devices, and the greatest lock-in of all, the Apple Watch, an extremely expensive accessory that becomes useless if you stop using an iPhone. But I take the same view of "ecosystem" features from other manufacturers as well, it's just that Apple play that particular game harder than most.Well, okay. I'm happy to know that iOS finally has some widgets: something Android has supported since 2008. I also understand that some iPhones now support wireless charging: something Android has supported since 2013. So "iPhones just work"... they just don't work as well.
Didn't Dick Tracy have one of the first Apple Watch ?
