I just got a Samsung S4, coming from an iphone. Where can I purchase mp3s from? I am looking for something like Itunes, except for an android system. I want it to have all the latest music.

Thanks

Google Play Music is much better than apple's product. You can upload your current song library and buy anything you want from it. Then it is all accessible on your device or any web browser.

If you want an apple style interface for playlists, etc. try Doubetwist - it's free in the Play Store

If you want to carry on using iTunes you can sync all your music (including playlists) using iSyncr, it even let's you do it over wi-fi

There's not even any need for isyncr.

Say you got all WAV* on your machine. Create a new smart playlist that is AAC (or mp3) in Kind. Make sure import settings are now on AAC. Drag music into the smart playlist window it will convert it all. Check the size of the music at the bottom of the window & make sure it will fit on your memory card. Then drag it from the smart play list window into your music folder in your phone. Done.

That way, you now have WAV and AAC copies (you can delete either afterwards if you need space).

* wav files don't hold album art, so it's best to have the highest quality file type that supports ID3 tags. Then convert to AAC or mp3 or whatever for your phone.

Maybe this seems a bit convoluted to others, but this works for me:

1. I buy Amazon MP3s that automatically add to my iTunes library

2. I use iSyncr to sync my iTunes playlists to my Android phone

3. I use Rocket Music Player on my Android to listen to the synced music

3. I use Rocket Music Player on my Android to listen to the synced music

Tbh the play lists sent over via isyncr should work with any Android music player. I regularly use the stock player and power amp, both use my iTunes play lists just fine. Unless you've got a preference for Rocket

I've actually been using iSyncr with PowerAmp for years, but I just recently switched to Rocket. Rocket was kind of cruddy at first, but it's gotten a lot better these days.

They still do not allow people in Canada to buy music from the Play Store.

Rocket lets you maintain STAR ratings and play counts, and iSyncr syncs both with ITunes, if you're into that kind of thing.
