Android keeps downloading stuff

Ok so this recently happened, I used to be able to go and look at a video on a website by clicking on It then using movies preference, but now everytime I click on the video it just downloads it and it cant be played. Please help!!!

Did you recently get a software update to your phone? I've ran some phones that went through that same pattern and it was a limiting factor caused by an update. You might let us know what you have for a phone and software but just straight up...I've been able to resolve this issue on 2 different phones by loading MX Video Player from the market. If it asks you to choose a default program the first time you press on a video, select it as the primary app to run.

Also, certain vid types (file types) don't seem to load well with any player I can find. I've had to just download them and then go to downloads and open them that way.

It turns out it was only for one video, thanks the help though, reallllly appreciate it.
