android keyboard

I am new at using an Android tablet.How do you use the keyboard?If I go to Chrome and do a search how can I access the keyboard if it is a website and I need to sign in?I am very frustrated.I have it connected to my laptop.I would appreciate any help I can get.

Please provide the make and model of tablet. In addition go to:
settings / about phone / look for the Android version number.

Hi wrecko56, welcome to Android Forums

Normally all you need do is touch anything that needs keyboard input like (say) a text box and the keyboard should appear automagically. Tap the "back" button to make the keyboard go away again.

But in any case it always helps to know the exact device you're using as zipred asked, just in case your tablet differs from the norm.
