The picks feature is what i am talking about. And no, it happens for every team that i have picked as soon as i enter a game it has preselected it. One will be dark grey and both show percentages...however, if i have never picked either of the teams it will let me pick.

For example last night i picked the bulls, and today when i enter the bulls game is already has the bulls pick box dark grey with the percent. It also happens for all sports if that helps.

So say you enter game 1 and teams A and B are playing. You pick team A.
Then you go into game 2 with teams A and C playing. Even though you've never entered game 2 before, team A is already selected?

I am going to try and uninstall reinstall and delete app data and set up exactly the same on two phones. I will let you know tomorrow if this fixes it or if it is a both phone problem or jsut the one phone.
 
aaron, i havent forgotten about you guys. lol

i have noticed alerts coming through. however, it was for the nhl all-star game and i didnt get all of my alerts, they were sporadic. for example, my first alert for the game was at 4-2. then the next alert was at 4-4. it skipped over the one goal. im not sure if something was wrong or the goals are just coming at too fast of a pace.

when i did get alerts though, they were current.

and also tonights 76ers game. i have every quarter and end of game alerts set. the only alert that i noticed for that game was the 2nd quarter. and that was it. i didnt get a 3rd quarter alert or a final score alert.

AND one last note, the vibrate setting does not work. not a big deal, but im sure its an easy fix.

and also the nfl pro bowl game, the alerts seem fine. so it makes me wonder if livescores service was shutdown for some reason earlier for the sixers game????

and if you stay in the app and let it update itself, the linescore does not update the score when points are scored unless you back completely out of the score screen and into the league screen, then go back in. (this is just for the NFL.)

Thanks you thats very helpful.

I've heard about the NFL update problem, I don't know if we'll be able to get an update out in time for the big game.

There have been a few quirks with our servers since we've moved them. We're still ironing them out. It's also not uncommon for the phone to drop connection and miss an update every now and then. I've also discovered a problem where every once in awhile if the phone loses connection during an update, it may not update again until after the app is started - still looking into it.
 
Not sure if this has already been covered but for those with issues with the widget not appearing as a choice - I've noticed if I move the app to my SD card the widget don't show up. Also, if I move it back to the phone, it's still not an option. Had to reinstall.
 
We're working on the widget issues. This next release will have some improvements.

Regarding this next release. We should be shipping out Monday or Tuesday, it will be Live Scores 1.5.0 and will include PGA and restyling of the scores page and widget fixes. The following week, we will be releasing NASCAR.

Keep an eye out!
 
man. this is going to be an elite app. its just soo ugly to look at. hopefully when you say that this next release will include a redesigned scores page, it includes the game details pages and stats pages.

sorry to be rough about the looks of the app. dont get me wrong, its gets the job done. buttttt, the way it looks is important.

regarding the widget. the widget NEEDS to jump ahead to the next game the day after the previous one. its okay to show the previous score for the rest of the night into the next morning. but the flyers have off until next thursday, and im not going to want to look at tonights score for the next week. a little much, eh???

also, an auto scrolling widget makes sense. example, the flyers had a game tonight. the sixers tomorrow. it should automatically switch to the sixers game as a default showing, because the sixers play tomorrow and the flyers dont. get it?

awesome job. i thought you lost some member's feedback for a little while, but looks like theres still some.
 
Sorry, much of the app is still the same ugly. The main scores page has been redesigned and new sports such as PGA and NASCAR will get the new styling treatment. Hopefully as we circle back around through the sports seasons we'll be releasing new styling for the existing sports before they start such as MLB and NBA, etc.

That's pretty much what I was trying to say above. That's how the widget should work.
 
aaron, is it possible to get rid of the plays tab, and instead show the scoring summaries underneath the game details? underneath the time, period, and score. very much like the sportstap, and scoremobile apps.
 
Great work on the update!!!

Scores list looks great now!

One suggestion would be to group together games you have alerts on with your favorites at the top of yge list.

Also, I would still like more updates then just game start quarter change half change and end game for the basketball leagues.
 
FYI - the NHL plays tab is still not working correctly. i can only see the summaries for the 1st period, and NOTHING else.

I know this has been an issue, we'll get to it soon. The last two releases have been a rush to get new sports out before the season begins. We'll get back to bug fixes after this next release.

Edit: Just for you - I did some research and determined that this is a server bug, they're looking into it now. The fix won't require an update and will solve the problem for future games but not past games. Keep an eye out.

no prob. sorry to be a pain. :( id rather just use one app. and this has the most potential, but i just couldnt get who scored. so im using this for alerts. and espn for my info until its fixed.

There's a Sharks game today at 4pm. I'll be watching, it sounds like we may see the fix by then. Cross your fingers!
