Android locks me out of camera and music apps the last 15% of the battery, annoying. Any workarounds exist?

This, and my system volume resetting itself to 100% about twice a week, are my two biggest Epic pet peeves. I'm hoping there are workarounds/fixes in 2.2.

OP - Not that I'm aware of. Normal on this phone.

^ something isn't right with your phone. Try a factory reset or get sprint to replace it.

I deal with it because the battery saving precautions the phone automatically takes really do stretch out that last 15%.
