With more android phones being activated everyday compare to iphone I hope those developers are smart enough to know where the money is. If you develop a quality app that is worth the money . Android users will pay but if you build crap guess what ...

So far I have 5 coworkers that have purchased android phones.Word of mouth and showing them my droid has show them the light . my girl has the tmobile mytouch 4g .My brother has gone from a iphony to a samsung infuse 4g and he loves it . take that apple

Flurry's numbers are skewed for several reasons:

1) They cater to iOS devs, and have been increasingly doing so.

2) They were involved in a "scandle" of sorts on Android in 2009/2010 (I think) regarding tracking users without permission

3) Google recently introduced better statistics to the Developer Console that Android devs use. This made for even less of a reason to use Flurry

4) Google Analytics is also now well supported for Android apps. Google Analytics is probably THE most popular website statistics software available. So a lot of devs already know how to use it.

So nothing comes as a surprise here. Android devs have little reason to use Flurry. Cross platform devs may like the reporting, but pure Android devs haven't the use for it. They have good default reporting and excellent "industry-standard" (Google Analytics) stats if they want more granularity.
