Android + MacBook

Did some searching, but did not see anything about this; if I overlooked something, please forgive me and point me in the correct direction.

I love Android and am not sure I like the iPhone. I do, however, love my MacBook computers and will probably always be an Apple Computer person...

I am wondering, though, is there some way I can use my Sprint Epic/Samsung GalaxyS to interface/control some feartures on my MacBook or my MacBook Pro? The main thing I would like to be able to do is to be able to use the Mac's camera to periodically check-in on my house while I'm not home. Additionally, controlling media (next, previous video; increase, decrease volume) and iTunes would be very helpful, as well..

Is there any way to do this on an Android device?

Thanks!

Try teamviewer on the phone and mac. Then you can make a remote connection through the phone to the macbook and enable the webcam to view it, like you normally would sitting infront of the macbook.

Try Remote for Itunes I don't use any Apple products so I cant go into details on it but it has good reviews.

Too bad the SallingClicker developer (salling.com) hasn't released an Android version. It can perform this sort of controls easily on Macs and Windows because it supports powerful scripting languages on each platform. You could do what you want easily on a PalmOS or Symbian phone, but not with Android :-(

You can try to ask him (Jonas Salling) to release an Android version ... I've already tried several times.
