It isn't directly them, they are using a service for this. They just picked a bad one that doesn't support much of Android it seems.

To me that states is available for all the icon platforms, but then there is a caveat on iOS.

Yes, the way I too read it was the magazine is available to all platforms but with a caveat on ios in that at present only the iPad is supported.
