Help Android Market ?_?

Hey guys yesterday i bought a new xperia X10 !!
and i updated it to 2.1 it is pretty amazing and works faster than 1.6 i love it !!!
+ by updating it i wanted to to add the android market to it because it didnt have it !!! ((when i bought it))
but when i uploaded it i didn't see the android market nor when i bought it
this is really annoying please help me + if u now how can i install the apk files plz tell me and i will try installing the market by apk file !!

Help and what do u mean with rooting ?? does it help !!!!!!!
+ this is my first time too own a android phone !!!

I don't think you'll be able to get the Market as a APK file I think it's been released as one.
It's strange that you don't have it.

Rooting means gaining root access to the phone, basically you can mess with all the system files and install apps that use things that normal apps don't have.

As for installing apks you'll need something like astro or a apk installer but I'm not sure how to get one to install without market.

You could flash your phone to US generic 2.1 those should have market on it, I think 2.1 is out in the US as gunny has it.

What network are you on? Have you tried using SE update?

I'm sure your location used to be USA not UAE or is that my bad eyesight sorry If I got it wrong.

Since you're already on 2.1 you can flash it to world generic and try SE update and it should have market on it here's a guide to flashing [UTIL] | X10Flash 2.1 final & 2.1 Firmware (Update Flasher 14.11.2010) - xda-developers

i bought an xperia x10i from saudi arabia(i reside in india now) n it doesnt have android market pre installed in it.It doesnt even have a file manager or an apk installer.

wat should i do?...i tried to follow the thread...but couldnt understand much as im new to android.

i tried to restore factory setting without any success...wat shud i do now?

should i debrand it? or is there any other solution..

if i should debrand it then wat country should i debrand it to?
India or United states or someother country?
