Help android market enabling

purchased galaxy s in UAE and updated it to 2.2 froyo.
but found that there is no android market application available on it.

searched abt this on net so i found one trick to enable market on 2.1 but not for 2.2.

so plz tell me how to enable the market on 2.2
or
tell me how to downgrade to 2.1

as far as downgrading its a case of downloading ODIN and the necessary files and flashing the firmware yourself.

As for their being no market, i've read a factory reset usually sorts this issue.
