Android Market Files Needed

[androidfear93]

So I got a cheap android pocket tablet today, and it doesnt have android market installed. So I just need the file pack that has all the vending and file apks ill need to install. So if anybody can give me a link to something like that, it would be much appreciated.

I'm asking for a g-apps file. Stuff that has the nesscary apks that give you market access.

IIRC, the caynogen team used to link to (or host) a zip file containing them. You might be able to Google it.

Yea it came with a bunch of stuff that doesn't look anything like what a regular g apps folder has.

Its true though that I never get anything done on forums. Some of my stuff is collecting dust lol.

Have you looked at goo-inside.me (url from memory). Should be a vending.apk in those zips.

You will need root (or more strictly, a custom recovery) to flash the zip, and should take a nandroid before trying! I guess you could extract the apk and just try to install that, but I don't know whether it actually works when installed as a user app.

Well ill root if I need to but I have a "Skytex Primer Pocket 4.3 inch android 2.2 pocket tablet". Is there any rooting tools for that?

Hmm, I know nothing about those. Best bet might be General Tablet Talk - Android Forums, or maybe Other Androids - Android Forums.

Perhaps just try putting a vending.apk onto the device and installing it, see whether it works.

I did, to put it simply it went crazy.
