Android market movies

Has anyone used the movie rental service in the market yet? If so what are the reviews? does it download to your device and then you can watch or is it streamed? Would like to watch a movie onmy Iconia but want to know if its worth the 3.99 to rent.

It's weird I tried to make a movie available for offline viewing and it said you can't on a rooted device (I wasn't rooted at the time).

Decided to go ahead and give it a shot, and I wasn't disappointed. Movie downloaded in about 40 minutes while I was making up some dinner, and the I played it using the videos app. No problems at all. Sounds and picture quality were both good. No lagging or skipping issues at all.

Overall a good experience. However, I do think that 3.99 a movie is a bit steep. Just my opinion.

I used it the first week I was able too. I was streaming it on the tab via home wifi and hdmi'd it to the led big screen and to be honest I was highly freaking impressed. Sound was incrediable, picture was HD DVD quality if not better and the ease of use perfect.

Would I do it again??? Maybe if I really want to watch a movie and want to spend the 4 bucks. Wish Netflix would hurry the hell up and get the app to us non rooted users.

On the three movies that I have rented none of them play farther than 10 seconds. Reported the issue to Google last night and they immediately credited me for them and are working on a resolution.

Was really hoping to have some videos to watch on the plane to HI this weekend.
