android market not working...help pls

If only I would knew what is causing that problem.
Even after a Hard reset it won't help.
Chances are that it is a problem with the ROM, or you have accidentally altered or deleted a file needed for it.
I suggest starting a thread in the Milestone Root section for help from those who know the Milestone better than I do.

The fastest way would be to flash an SBF file and start from scratch.
When you alter system apps and then do a hard reset the system apps you removed do not get replaced.
In order to replace a missing app just reflash it.

Make sure you download 2.1 specific for your region and NOT the Service version.

I was having issues with the market on Friday. Same thing it would timeout downloading my updates or just pause the download. I went into the settings and cleared the market cache tried again and it worked. Been downloading apps throughout the weekend no problem.

hey guys! still can't download apps? me too...and been trying for nearly a month. looks like we got no solutions for the problem.
maybe we should go to the Sony Ericsson shop and get some answers. i'm thinking of going on this Monday.
If after all that trouble it's still unresolved, maybe we should all get new phones...like iphone 4

I've been having this DOWNLOAD UNSUCCESSFUL problem for days and I just resolved it (at least for now). I had tried all the clearing cache suggestions and nothing made any difference. I found the app I wanted on a different download site than android market and was able to download it from there. Then I went back to the market and tried the download of the same app and IT WORKED! So, maybe folks having this problem could try that???
