Android Market 'upgrade'

So, last night I popped onto Market and was greeted with a new upgrade - a Sony Ericsson-ified Market.

The new market, while aesthetically similar to the Android Market, they've replace the apps icon with a dedicated SE portion of the market and spazzed out the Google app carousel and title bar. I don't like it, it lacks consistency. Grr.

Agreed. It's lame

90% of the time I venture into the market, it's to check if there are updates for my installed apps (the other 10% being to browse). Now we have to press the Menu button to go to My Apps. It's a minor annoyance, considering it's been replaced with SE garbage.

I'm with you guys on this one, completely unnecessary it would make more sense if SE had a lot more apps available but as it stands its pretty silly.

yeah i have this on my worldwide generic handset but not on the nordic one???

i had it until i flashed with wolf's V06 ROM last night...went back to the usual one!!

Anyone download and try the life.contacts widget yet?

Me thinks it's kinda WinMo7 copying.

I did, but still has bugs obviously due to it's beta form. Like not all contacts that are linked to fb are having their pictures show up.


Interesting nonetheless.
