Android meets Sharepoint

[wavemaster]

Today I finally severed the one emotional tie I still had with Windows Mobile.

Finally downloaded Firefox mobile for my Captivate, because it was supposed to support NTLM.

NTLM is an authentication protocol that is necessary for a browser to be able to connect to a Sharepoint site requiring authentication.

It works!

Bluetooth voice dialing
Wireless Access Point
Free Navigation
Can load my own ROM, rather than wait for carriers to provide upgrades
Sharepoint access

Perfect!

Firefox does not fix the NTLM issue on a Xoom. Will be taking it back.

I want to connect to Sharepoint in a custom android app connecting to sharepoint web part or similar. Anyone had experience with that -- particularly various ways to autenticate?
