Android Messages for the Web

Okay, who started this rumor? This 'news' is now all over the tech blogosphere - as far as I know, it's patently false:

Everyone is gushing about how Android Messages can now sync up with most browsers. It can? I'm not seeing this option, and I'm on the latest version!

Is anyone here able to do this?

The story I read said "will be rolling out". Sometimes Google announce such things weeks or even months before the rollout occurs (e.g. recent Gmail changes took many weeks).

It is rolling out now, there are a folks on Reddit who have it and say it's working. It's a server side update so the big wait is on. I don't have it yet but can't wait, that's one thing I love about Google Voice, web use that works seamlessly.

I saw a popup on Messages on my phone to try On the Web out. I didn't click yet but it's here.

I saw this message on my S8+ (Tmobile Oreo).

My V20 (Tmobile Nougat) does not show this yet

I like it! I set it up last night and the messages show on my laptop as well as my phone! So definitely a feature I will love while I'm at work! It's an easy setup! Turn the settings on in the messaging app then go to your PC scan the code and Bam it loads and starts working! Looks like you can save different PC's too your signed in PC's list as well! You can also sign out from the phone on a PC!
