Wow, doesn't work very well. It couldn't even detect my Megadeth cd.

Swizzy it wouldn't detect my Stainless Steel flatware ... but softer iron it will it is very sensitive to rf (electromagnetic fields) try just pointing it at a fan or you tv ... If I was blind it would be kool
