Android mini pc not booting

Guys I have an android mini pc with 4.1.1 firmware. Has been working great and was really loving the way it turned tv into smart tv. Now when I turn it on it tries to boot but the screen just stays black. It's not the connections as it does try and boot but then after it fails.
Can anyone suggest how I fix this?

Have you tried plugging it into the charger?

If nothing helps, you could try a reset with the pinhole (if there is one on your device).
