I'm trying to create a simple android application that uses the WiFi Hot Spot and Multicast, but I have no idea where to start and I can't find any examples or tutorials, I have the application ready and the user can move a cube around, can I just start a Multicast server like in Java and just that? or is there more a specific method I need to call? When a server is up and running, a client will connect to the wifi hotspot, and then use the wifi hotspot to connect to the host who will also be the wifi hotspot host, how can i gather the IP addres of the host also? computer it is 192.168.0.1 of course, but does that apply to a phone device?
