Android music to itunes

Is it possible to transfer my music from HTC Desire HD android phone to an iPad 4?

Also how do I download music to my iPad

I'm new to the iPad world,,,,,,,,,,,help............

Hi nurselinpig, and welcome to AF

I don't think it'll be easy to transfer directly - iDevices want you to sync with iTunes. So install iTunes on your computer, then copy music from the Desire HD to the computer (if it's not on there already). You can then import the music into iTunes then sync that with the iPad.
