Help Android NFC

[jackyytca90]

I have a few question here...

1) Does NFC require any external software in order to work on an Android Phone?
2) Does Samsung Galaxy Ace support this features?

Welcome to the forums, jackyytca90.

NFC apps started showing up in Android Market late last year.

Here's an article about what restrictions are still being dealt with (as of January this year):

First NFC Apps for Android Show Up in Market

Be sure to check around for updates to that info.

Thank you so much!!!
I need to know whether Samsung Galaxy Ace support NFC because i need to implement it for my Final Year Project.
If it cannot support then i won't buy it.

It does. Get a NFC SD card, and flash the CWM package you get with it.
You now have NFC.
