Android Not Booting, not sure on model number

Hi,

New guy here, I'm trying to fix this android device. Here is info on the device

* 7 inch EPC with Google 2.2Android System
*CPU : VIA8650 800Mhz
*Memory: 256RAM
*NAND FLASH:2GB Resolution:800*480
*WIFI:802.11b/g
*USB Port:USB 30pin*1
*Power : 9V 1600MAH
*Support Flash Player 10.1
* Support TF Card (1GB-32GB)
* High speed connectivity with Wi-Fi
* 16:9 Touch Panel
* Built-in stereo speaker
* Support external 3G
* Bulit-in camera

I did not see the model on this site. The device only shows the boot screen with litter green robot. It will not go past this screen. I've read on some ways to fix it using a SD card. I can do that, but I'm not too sure on the model or where to find software specific for my model.

The paper work shows it as model P701, P706.

I'm hoping someone can shine a light for me on this one.

I Googled the Model number and found two possibilities to get you started.
7 inch tablet computer P701 with Freescale A8 CPU, 2GB/512MB, capacitive touch screen, Webcam, WiFi, 3500mAh battery, Android 2.2
At the top of the page there is a Help tab. Hold your cursor over it and on far right there is a report problem etc, one of the entries will get you to some help of some sort.

The other possibility is:

thanks for the links, but I'm looking for software updates that I can use to re install Android on my device, i'm just not sure which Android version I can use for it with out messing it up and allow me to use the wifi too. Plus I don't want to call China!!
