Android on Pantech Hotshot

[MISPELLED ANDROID DURING THREAD...CANT EDIT SORRY!]
Hi all! I know this is my first post, but I am not at all a noob...or whatever you would call an Android newbie.
I know it is possible to run Fro-Yo on the Pantech Hotshot...it meets all requirements, had enough RAM (Needs 91MiB, Has 256MiB), enough on-board memory, and even had an acceleromoter. So now the million dollar question. How do I install it? Verizons "Two Day Shipping" has taken 2 weeks, but is finally somewhere in Memphis. Any thoughts on how to adapt a similar setup to this piticular phone? Even a phone similiar enough to have the Android OS work with the hardware. Any comments are much appreicated! Thanks so much!

I did a quick search and it seems no one has put Froyo on your particular device. Any reason you chose the Hotspot over another Android device offered by Verizon?

Welcome to AF, glad you found us, check around and enjoy :pepsi:

The reason is I didnt want to pay for the stupid mandatory data fee for smartphones. Honestly I hate Verizon...thinking of moving to TMobile...but hopefully someone might be able to collobrate on making this work with me.
(HINT HINT!)
