Help Android OS battery drain.

Newbie
This seems to be a somewhat common problem with Gingerbread, apparently. Is anyone else suffering from this with their DROID 4? I first noticed it when I didn't leave my phone charging overnight. Now I notice it when I have the phone in my pocket at work. Here are some pictures.

Keep in mind that I had my phone charged up to 100%.

I can't find a fix for it.

I just checked out my Battery Use becasue I'm having horrible battery performance. My Android OS isn't using as much as yours is, but it is at 26%...which seems high to me. Maybe it isn't that high tho.

Mine is also 41%. However, when I changed from a live wallpaper to a static wallpaper, that went down. There are likely other applications driving your OS battery usage up so high, too.

AndroidOS has been between 25% and 30% since I bought it, I wish I could remember where my Droid2 had the OS's usage at, but for the most part I'm inclined to say much lower.

It's the kernel's "suspend" process, it seems. I've read lots of complaints on it. I've given up on the fix.
