I recently purchased the One XL and the device is great but I noticed its using an insane amount of data in certain applications with just minutes of use, I was in my Faceback app and did a manual refresh, looked at a few posts, went back to my "Usage" section and I've used near 2mbs in just under a minute. So I tested the YouTube app, played a video (turned OFF HD). The video was only 3 minutes, went back to my Usage, the youtube app itself didn't go up much at all, but the "Android OS" category went from maybe a few kb to 16mbs, becoming my highest used item as far as data is concerned on the list.
Something is going wrong, at this rate I'll gobble thru my alloted data in no time, I've went thru a few other forums and saw people wth similar issues with different devices on different carriers. I've turned off the "bankup data" setting as well, still using an insane amount of data in a short amount of time.
Any suggestions?
