Android Pay

Back with another compability question.

Is Android Pay compatible with the Volt? It seems to meet all of the device requirements, with Android 4.4.2 and NFC capability. However, for whatever reason, if I click the Add button, it gives me a message that says "Android Pay can't be used: Google is unable to verify that your device or the software running on it is Android Compatible." Is there a fixable reason for this? My phone is rooted, but I haven't made any changes in regard to the Android version or a custom ROM. Only two Xposed modules are activated. I will admit I had to reinstall the Play Store approximately a year ago (for reasons that I am no longer involved with), but it is at the most current version.

Does anybody else have a problem with Android Pay?

It's actually installed with the stock setup, so yes, it's compatible.

I wouldn't think simply being rooted would cause a problem. What modules are you running? What was with your play store issue?

I tried it on my sister's phone, and it worked. Play Store problem is fixed. Apparently nothing is wrong with it. My solution is to reinstall the stock ROM, which I had been planning to do for a while. My phone is flashed to the PagePlus carrier, though. If I change it back to the stock ROM, will my network carrier change? It involved inserting PRLs and what not.

You will likely have to redo your carrier stuff. That could be the issue with Android Pay though. I thought you were already on stock?

I have bounced around with stock rooted and non, bliss, cm etc. Somehow for a short time rooted on stock, without root cloak was able to use. Android pay is only avail on stock with no history of root from what I've seen. To bad Samsung is the only one besides really working on.
