Android phone as an internet camera?

Hey!

I would like to use my android phone as an internet camera, for skype for example.

I know one application called DroidCam but it looks like this app dissapeared ;/

Does enyone know how to use an android phone as an internet camera?

So why not use Skype itself for face-to-face calling? You need a frontside camera on your phone, though.

An 'internet camera' is not like Skyping. Try 'IP webcam' for instance. It will give you a URL. Send that URL to whomever you like, and they can then paste it in their browser and see (and record) the images your phone's camera 'sees'.
You will need to be on WiFi, though!

For Live Streaming over the Internet (Wi-Fi or 3G/HSDPA) the best app I would recommend is Qik. It streams pretty much instantly as you capture videos. You could share your live streaming URL to your friends (private) or have a public video streaming that anyone could watch by going to the Qik website. Qik is now part of Skype!

Qik cannot be stored on the SD card. IP Webcam can.

Last time I used Qik to view a live feed over wifi, it had a 30 second delay.

Haven't used it since.
