Android Phones Contacts

I have other a 1,000 people on my Android phone, and I need to trim this significantly.

Is thre some application which enable me to do this from my PC?

If they're Google contacts then that can be done by logging into your gmail account on your pc & selecting contacts.

No - they are phone contacts!

Export as vcf file to the PC, edit, delete phone contacts, import edited contacts to the phone.

If you are using a Samsung Phone, you can use Kies. If that doesn't work, you can use MyPhoneExplorer (works for other brands too).

I would personally suggest just putting the contacts up in Google.
