Help Android phones that don't require rooting to move apps to SD

I'm a bit frustrated with my smartphone search. I don't want to spend a ton of money on a phone I'll probably trade in a year, but I also don't want to have to jump through hoops for the ability to move apps to the external SD. I have Virgin Mobile as my provider. I have no scruples about changing, but would like to stick with a pre-paid plan, as I hate contracts. I had an LG Optimus F3 that I rooted so that I could move apps to the SD, and it worked great for a while, until I bricked it while trying to update the OS.

So, I got an LG Tribute, but I can't move apps to the SD because there isn't a root built for it yet. I'm constantly clearing the cache and deleting photos and junk files so my phone will operate. I can't put a lot of apps on it, because the 4GB of internal storage is dominated by pre-loaded apps that I can't remove.

This is very aggravating. Can anyone tell me what moderately-priced Android smartphones are out there that will allow me to move apps to the external SD without having to go through rooting? I'm not an Android gearhead (I say this with affection), and I don't want to risk bricking another phone if I can help it.

Thanks for your help.

Great question mate.
I have a feeling some Samsung's allow it but I'm not too sure....
Imo your best bet is to get a phone with ample internal storage
