Why has visiting porn websites downloaded porn content without clicking download?

Because the sites are filled with ad scripts that are written to do just that. And they may be downloading more than just porn - spam apps, malware, ransomware are also possible.

Any site that starts to download stuff you haven't asked for should be avoided, as it's by definition up to no good.
