Android Status Bar

Hi,

I recently purchased an Orange San Diego, running Android 2.3.

After having a little play around I noticed I had a letter 'N' in my status bar, with a light blue circular shape coming out of it.

Does anybody know what this icon means, and how I can get rid of it/if I have to ?

Sorry, this is my first Android phone.

Joe

If the icon is on the left, it's a notification. Pull down the bar and it will tell you what it is. If it's on the right it's informing you of an active service such as Bluetooth, GPS or Wifi.

Hi,

I didn't manage to get a screenshot, but I was able to take this with another (crappy) phone camera. If it's a bit unclear, (from right to left), I've got my time, battery, signal then this weird N with a blue circle.

Thanks again,

Joe

Thankyou very much Harry, this worked great. Being a reformed Apple user I'm still adjusting to not being babied by software.

Thanks again !
