So what's the crack with this then?
Not really messed with this before, but went ahead and brought a USB C to USB adapter for my Kingston memory stick with the idea of transfering media files directly from my android device and playing them in my media player connected to the TV.
Thought this would be nicer than transfering from android to PC, from PC to stick and then to the player. Seems it is not that straight forward.
The stick being brand new and no problems, when plugged into my phone needs formatting. So I go ahead and let this happen and transfer some files, no probs. Only now the player will not recognise the stick and when plugged back into my pc it states it needs repairing, even tho there is nout wrong with it.
I had the stick formatted in NTFC so that large files can be transferred. Android re-formats into FAT32.. boo. Not a big issue tbh.
Only the player will not recognise the stick now. Any ideas from experienced users on this one?
FYI:
Work based issue so no internet/WiFi.
