Help Android System process high battery usage

hello
I have a problem with my galaxy s4 after upgrade to 5.0.1
Android System process consume over double as much battery as display, before upgrade it was just a fraction.
I wiped cache partition, made factory reset and turned off most of build in apps. Unfortunately it doesn't help.
Phone isn't very hot, it's cold at idle as was before but battery live decreased a lot. Would you help me to figure out what can cause it please? I don't wanna risk flashing it back to kitkat maybe there is a solution to do something with lollipop, I don't believe it's so much more energy hungry. Thx in advance.

Very good point. Screen on in like 10% even less, awake 80-90%. It's not normal, is it? Can I do something with that?

No it's not normal and suggests you have a wakelock problem. Unfortunately it's not obvious how to fix it.

Personally I'd try clearing cache in recovery one more time for good measure.

Then I'd get a wakelock app to get more details on what is causing the wakelock, maybe it leads to a specific fix. If you're rooted (are you?) I'd try Better Battery Stats.

Maybe others have different suggestions.

Be careful about trying to flash back to KitKat unless you have a clear previously-proven plan for your specific model and firmware. The Samsung upgrades usually aren't backward compatible. If you try to Odin an older version you'll probably soft brick.

No, it's not rooted. It's my first android phone and I have it only a few months. But if I don't find solution I'll root it and look for app which give me more details, as you said. Rooting is less risky process than flashing. As far as I read about rooting it seems to be pretty straightforward but in practice everything can happen.

So for now key word "wakelock" and reading :)
Thank you so much for help
