Hey guys,
I know this phone is getting a little grey in the nose, but I'm wondering if I can save it.
I was using my phone and then I got an error pop up saying "Android System Server has Crashed" Then my phone shut down. I was able to restart it, but it kept shutting down, I didn't get the error message before the subsequent shutdowns though. Now these shut downs happened for a few hours then my phone wouldn't make it past the boot screens, then it wouldn't make it past the initial logo. Now the phone wont even power on. I already ensured power and battery weren't the issue by hooking the phone up to a lab power supply. The battery also makes good voltage and the phone applies voltage to it when plugged into the charger. My phone did get a little warm before this issues. It would get warm under load. Sometimes even hot.
Any help is appreciated.
P.S I'm comfortable digging into the electronics of it to save it.
