Android System UI Crashes

I have had the M8 for about 24 hours now and the system ui has crashed several times. I am starting over, formatting the SD and erasing the phone.

Anyone else experience this?

If it persists after a factory reset, exchange it for another phone.

So far so good. The crashes have stopped. Other apps, such as gallery and Play store are working much smoother than before. I should have known better than to just upgrade without a full restore.
