Android tablet locked

Hello,

I got a tablet iTouch (assembled in China) a few weeks back. It got locked because "maximum number of patterns reached" and I have forgotten my username and password as well I tried a number of things online, to do a factory reset, like pressing the vol. UP + Power button, this shows an android figure with an exclamation mark, and nothing happens further. What do I do?

screens like that usually mean you're 1) in maintenance mode, 2) booting a corrupted ROM, or 3) the OS got erased somehow. sounds like a knockoff problem too, if it's one of them tablets
