Help android tablet vs android tv stick/box

Hi, I'm testing several android tv sticks and boxes for a project that i'm managing, but can anyone tell me what's the difference between an android tablet and a stick because for the same price i can also plug in a tablet in my tv. For example a Samsumg 10 inch one could be a good alternative for a stick or box.

Or have I a blind spot in this case?

I would say it depends. Generally TV boxes are for like a roku replacement. Some are specialized at games. If you plan on presenting something, a tablet may suffice, but for me, if I have some tablet distracting me in the middle of a movie, or that many cords dangling around, I get bothered. If your looking for Android on a big screen, get the nexus player imo.

OMG I just remembered I impulse bought a cheap Android box from Amazon lastnight.. Stupid alcohol.. Bet it's a piece of crap!
