Hadn't heard of this Eken device, but I've looked at the Archos tablets, and they seem pretty sweet.

I wish that it uses 2.1 and not 1.6...Other than that, no issue. And with the cpu architecture, I wouldn't surprised if someone merged Eclair into it.

That's really cool, I may pick one of those up in a few weeks but I will have trouble deciding between this and the ARCHOS units. They have a nice ARCHOS 5 160GB refurb on their site for $270.

Then again, this thing could be like the Didj in that the cheap price and open-source OS make it where cheap people like me are driven to hack it.
