Android Talkback on Touch devices.

Hello Everyone,

I'd like to ask you all how to make Android device with touch-only interface read Talkback labels. What I mean is:

- with any kind of directional control (joystick, touchpad, whatever), whenever user highlights some option (say one of the options in Settings menu), the Talkbacks reads what it is (say Sound, Dispplay, Privacy, etc.).

- with touch-only device, when user taps-and-holds on any option in the Settings menu (for example Sound), nothing is read out. Only after entering that particular option, Talkback says its name.

So how to make Talkback read out what the user has his/her finger on without actually entering this option? This is a question about main menus, as well as all the sub-menus and option menus.

Is this possible? If so, which parameter to use?
setContentDescription(CharSequence) and contentDescription?
I can't find any resources for coding Talkback support, other than the most basic ones.

Help, please?

Thanks.
