Android texting app with repeating notifications for important senders

Hi, I'm trying to find a texting app that will give me repeating notifications (until I dismiss), but only for specific people that I mark as important.

I've searched at length, and can find a few texting apps that repeat notifications, but it's for all messages received. I would like repeating notifications for only specific people. Does such an app exist?

Thanks for the suggestion! I've looked at it some in the past, but I just struggle with enough time in my life currently to learn it... :( In the past, I've rooted phones, etc.; but my current circumstances make that tough. I was hoping there is a ready made texting app, or some other app, that would work.. More suggestions would be greatly appreciated too!
 
Check out the Tasker sub-forum. Root-ing is not needed for what you are trying to do. As an example I have a Tasker Profile that identifies verbally identifies who is sending me an SMS message and then reads the message to me on my un-rooted phone.

+1 for tasker. This would be easy using tasker.

Just my two cents. I realize it takes a little time to used to, and it's not for everyone. If there's a ready made app for this particular purpose, maybe someone will post it...

If you want to unlock your cell who do not access some apps , create a new user account and select the apps that you want to access . Lock your user with a pin and do not put him new account security.
