Apps Android Timer ?

Hello ,

I used to program on c# and i have recently moved into android programming .

i have a question :-

i want to make a timer which repeats a function every 1 sec for example , i really searched a lot , but i couldn't find what i want .

if someone can help me , I'll be grateful .
