Android to Android Remote Control

Can someone help and advise where I may locaate product etc that will do:

Android A is to send messages to Android B which is hooked up to two r/c type servos to control speed direction in a vehicle. Do not want bluetooth as this is limited to 100m I want to use of 2 km.

Essentially a bluetooth r/c car controller (plenty available) but a long distance versiopn using the phone network.

then received call and press DTMF to control.

or use WiFi connect to internet to control.

Thanks for your response.

The both phones will be outdoors, no use of computer can be made.

I am new to this. What does the DTMF, is that a normal function of Android ?

Can your refer me to a site where this is being done .
