Android to iOS compatibility for Sandstorm

[harryk92]

I have had this game for a few days now and play it with a few other friends over the same wifi network at school. We all have a range of android phones. However, my friend with a 2nd generation iPod touch would like to play with us too, on the same multiplayer game. Sandstorm is available for the iPod, but will he be able to play with us android players?
Thanks

Does he have WiFi?

Yes he does, we'd be playing over the same wifi network.

Anybody?

Proxy blocks a lot of search results for me. Fish for yourself: Google "Sandstorm" and "cross platform". It seems like it should but it's difficult for me to verify.
