I work at a medical center and we are looking at a few apps to serve different needs around the facility. The current plan is to purchanse Ipod Touches to host the apps. We do not want to be tied into a data contract with a cell phone provider so we are looking at devices like the Touch.
My idea is to substitute a cheaper alternative using Android devices so that I don't have to support Apple products when the apps are also available on Android.
Anybody have some suggestions or feedback on such devices?
