Android touchscreen has died! Help!

Hi, I'm Allison and I need your help to save the life of my little robot friend. We call him little Andy, he's an Lg optimus Q, and is very sick:(. He is just 1 month old and his touch screen is very sick and is refusing to respond to my touch. Does any one know of a cure for my Andy?

Hello and welcome to Android Forums! :)

Sorry to here about your difficulties. The first thing I'd try is to pull the battery out. Wait 30 seconds and then replace it and reboot. If that doesn't work, you might have to reset to factory settings. The folks in LG Optimus Q (LU2300) - Android Forums should know how to do that. If neither of those things work, i fear you may have a failed display.
