Android TV and BT Home Hub.

Please can anyone tell me if the BT Home Hub blocks content on the Android TV boxes and if so what can i change in the hub settings to allow all content.

many thanks

My HH2 doesn't block anything (well it does, but nothing TV related). However there are some minor limitations with its wifi that don't apply to wired network connections.

Need a lot more information before I can advise: what are you trying to watch and on what hardware, which version HH do you have (there are at least four) and what network connection is used between the two (ie wired, wifi)?

HH5 Wired, not bought the TV box yet, but it's just a guy i was going to buy one from suggested the HH5 blocked certain content, before i spent the money i was wondering if anyone could clarify this and what to change in the hub itself, thanks

Understood. As far as I know there are no blocks in relation to TV content; mine works fine with the rather odd online services provided by my Finlux TV and of course with my YouView box, and also works with all TV services I've used on PCs and Android phones and tablets so I can't imagine it would block an Android TV box.

In fact the only things that is blocked by BT are a few well-known pirate torrent sites, I have yet to see any blocks on any kind of legal content.

If there were any other "built in" blocks you couldn't remove them anyway; the blocks are done in the BT infrastructure not in the HH itself so even using a non-BT router wouldn't bypass them.
