Android UI smoothens compared to IOS

Well no, seriously, it doesn't do much lol

After using an iPhone for three years, two androids for one, and a WP7 for a little over a month, I'd say this OS does a LOT more than iOS. It really is a great OS, especially since 7.5 (Mango). That said there are definitely still things that MS really needs to add/tweak, and more. For instance the notifications are almost as bad as pre-iOS5. There really needs to be a unified notification screen.

Personally I am going back to Android when my upgrade comes up in January, but WP7 really gets a lot of hate that it doesn't deserve for many reasons.

It's kind of a stutter. Techradar mentioned it in their review too ( they have ranked it as the number 1 phone in the world ahead of the 4S so it's not like they are iphone fans just trying to nitpick)

Isnt that review from April? firmware has been updated quite a few times since then.

Anyway, I tried the Galaxy Nexus today, I don't think it's hardware accelerated as when I added a live wallpaper it was very laggy just like honeycomb and other stock launchers.

Disappointing, if thats the pure google experience I don't want it.

The issue I see with making the claim that one phone lags while another doesn't is that it's all subjective. The top three challenges I see with regard to this are:

3. One particular handset may display lag for whatever reason while others of the same model don't...

2. Handsets may display lag caused indirectly by poorly written third party apps installed on the device...

and my number 1 observation

1. Most definitions of lag tend to vary based on the specific user of the device. What looks like serious lag to one person may be perceived differently by another.
